Citizen return to Seattle for their US headlining tour

Midwest emo band Citizen brought the house down with their sold out show at Neumos in Seattle. Promoting their recently released album Calling the Dogs, Citizen's US headlining tour features support from bands Modern Color and Narrow Head.

Modern Color brought the energy to the crowd with an amazing shoegaze/hardcore blend, performing energetic tracks such as “Pale.” Narrow Head continued this feeling with a heavier lean into the shoegaze grunge sound with tracks like “Cool in Motion.”

Citizen kicked off their set with “Hyper Trophy,” before continuing through the night with more high-energy punk tunes from the new record to slower mellow tracks such as “Yellow Love.” There was plenty of variety in the crowd from new fans to day-one fans; the crowd went from slow dancing and swaying to stage diving every 30 seconds. Safe to say this isn’t a tour you’ll want to miss, with Citizen bringing a variety of tracks from their amazing discography that everyone is sure to love.

Citizen's US tour runs from October 18th to Nov 26th, finishing out in Chicago. Tickets for the remaining tour dates can be found here.
