Polaris brings the Fatalism Tour to Detroit

Australian band Polaris have been busier than ever this year playing shows all over the world. The North American leg of their headlining Fatalism Tour was not a tour to be missed, especially with exceptional performances from openers Paledusk, Varials, and Currents.

First to perform was Paledusk, another band far away from their home in Japan. They warmed up the crowd with their energy filled songs like “Slay!!” and “Black Ice.” Up next was Varials, who followed with nothing but heavy jams that got the crowd moving. Currents kept the same energy going and played several tracks from their latest album The Death We Seek.

The highly anticipated performance from Sydney-based metalcore band Polaris was met with a animated crowd that sang along, crowd surfed, and moshed throughout the entirety of the band’s set. Their 15-song setlist featured 7 songs off the band’s third studio release Fatalism, and the energy in the room was at an all time high during songs "Dissipate" and "Inhumane." The band dedicated the tour to their dear friend and guitarist, Ryan, who recently passed.

Polaris will be touring the US through November 5th, before beginning the EU/UK leg of the tour in March 2024. Tour dates can be found here.
