If There Is Light, It Will Find You by Senses Fail
Senses Fail is a name that you’ve undoubtedly heard before, and for good reason. With their 7th studio album coming out on Friday (2/16) and a tour kicking off within the next few weeks, the band is ready to put everything out into the world.

From gut-wrenching heartbreak to the love and appreciation for music, this album is a rollercoaster of emotions. Written solely by lead singer and founding member, Buddy Nielsen, the album takes on the topics that Buddy himself have dealt with over the years. Put in the rock song that has found its way back into their music and Senses Fail have given us something no short of a classic.
With songs like Gold Jacket, Green Jacket…, Elevator To Gallows, and New Jersey Makes, The World Takes delivering the type of melodies and lyrics that’ll be stuck in your head for days on in, to the near soul-crushing realities of songs like First Breath, Last Breath, Orlando And A Miscarriage, and Ancient Gods the album takes you through both the ups and downs of life. With lyrics like “Cause all I got, all I really got is this music that’s left of me” opening the record (Double Cross) and “If there is light it will find you, don’t be afraid” closing it (If There Is Light, It Will Find You), the album comes full circle.
Senses Fail are a band that has been around the world and back, put out album after album, and still manage to do nothing but amaze me. Buddy puts his heart and soul into this record and it shows, and I can’t wait to hear some of these songs live - I’m sure it’s going to be amazing.
