What can I say about this track other than it is a flawless pop punk track that gives classic pop punk feels combined with modern pop sounds. It throws out 5 seconds of Summer and blink 182 vibes while still being original and distinctive. From the first listen of this song, I was completely hooked. It is catchy, has good guitar riffs and the vocals are sublime.
The video that goes along with the track fits the pop punk mood perfectly with the classic fish eye lens and the energy that the band displays. There’s nothing I love more than seeing a modern pop punk band bring heavy influences from the classic bands and adding their individual twist to it – Girlfriends does just that.This band is definitely one to looks out for in the future as this track will get stuck in your head from the first listen and have you singing it in your sleep.
