Emarosa Fall 2016 Tour
The Everyday Anthem, an up and coming local band, started the night by playing songs from their EP entitled Call It Infatuation. The band also threw in a cover of Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard and recorded a video during their third song. They’re going to be releasing a new album early next year so definitely check that out. This band is going somewhere.
Cold Collective were up next. They played most of the songs from their album Bachelorette Party that came out earlier in the year. Despite a missing guitarist and a drummer who isn’t even part of the band (“we borrowed him”), they gave one hell of a show.
A crowd favorite called Anabor had everyone dancing with songs from all four of their albums and also a cover of No Scrubs by TLC. They joked around with the crowd and had everyone laughing in between the songs. Everyone seemed to love the vibes and they left everyone wanting more.
Lastly, we had the headliners Emarosa. You could feel the excitement from the crowd as the band started off with the first song of their latest album (131 via Hopeless Records) called Hurt. They had fans screaming the lyrics back at them and everyone crowding around lead singer Bradley Walden as he came out into the crowd. They had fans crowdsurfing during Helpless and screaming during A Hundred Crowns, and it was evident that nobody wanted the night to end (myself included).
If this tour is coming near you I highly recommend checking it out! And if you can’t make it out, we got some photos that don’t do the show justice but gives a good taste of Cold Collective, Anabor, and Emarosa.
