A Lesson In Romantics Tour

I've been a huge fan of Mayday Parade for years and A Lesson In Romantics is tied with Anywhere But Here for my favorite album of theirs. I had heard good things about Knuckle Puck and Milestones, the other two bands on the lineup. It's safe to say I was very excited for this tour.

I got into Milestones' music when I got tickets for the tour and I was ecstatic to get to see this band live. Milestones had a really good set and it was really awesome to sing the words back at the top of my lungs. They put their all into their performance and it shows. A highlight of their set was when they performed Shot In The Dark which is personally one of my favorite songs by them. They're such amazing, humble and nice people and I can't wait to see and meet them again soon.

Now when Knuckle Puck started, the crowd went crazy (I mean this in a good way!). The crowd had as much energy as the band did and a lot of people were moving and jumping and screaming all the words to every song, and the crowd was even louder than vocalist Joe Taylor at some points. Knuckle Puck put on a very energetic performance and although I didn't know their music too well, I still really enjoyed their set.

Finally, Mayday Parade came on. Their set was a little over an hour, with the band playing A Lesson In Romantics front to back, along with several extra songs. Seeing them play all these songs (some of which are my favorites by them) live was as incredible as I thought it would be. You could tell how excited everyone in the crowd was as they sang everything, whether it be pop punk anthems like Jamie All Over and Jersey or slower ballads like Miserable At Best and You Be The Anchor... and the final song in the set, Oh Well, Oh Well. Everyone seemed like they were having a great time and it just felt like all of us came together and bonded over a mutual love for the bands playing.

I would definitely see all three of these bands again soon and I can't wait for the days that I will.
