The Devil Wears Prada bring Metalcore Dropouts to Seattle

Metalcore veterans The Devil Wears Prada brought the Metalcore Dropouts 2nd Semester to Seattle for a sold out show at Showbox SoDo, featuring co-headliners Fit For A King as well as support from Counterparts and Seattle locals Avoid.

Following the extremely successful Metalcore Dropouts tour, the 2nd Semester visited several cities that were missed the first time around, including some pacific northwest dates. Nearly 20 years into their career, the band sound better than ever - promoting their latest release Color Decay, The Devil Wears Prada had fans crowd surfing nonstop throughout the entire show in the packed 1800-capacity room. The Dayton, Ohio band’s highly energetic set included over half the acclaimed album as well as several classic TDWP tracks like “Outnumbered” and “Dez Moines” (which featured Dying Wish vocalist Emma Boster).

While the tour will be coming to an end in a few days, you can catch The Devil Wears Prada on their upcoming European tour this spring or at one of their festival appearances later this year, including an album playthrough of Plagues at When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas this October.
