A Night of Noise: Silverstein Rocks Detroit

On February 12th, just two days before the end of the U.S. portion of their tour, Silverstein brought their 25 Years of Noise tour to Detroit. The show featured three fantastic supporting bands: Thursday, Arm’s Length, and Split Chain. Despite the challenging drive through a snowstorm, the crowd's enthusiasm was palpable, and they were more than ready for Silverstein's performance.

Split Chain and Arm’s Length shared an infectious energy on stage. Their passion for performing was clear, and their seven-song sets effectively warmed up the audience. Each band brought a high level of energy, ensuring the crowd was fully engaged and ready for the night ahead.

Next up was Thursday. Formed in 1997, they had a vast catalog to choose from but managed to curate the perfect 10-song set for this tour. They opened with "The Other Side of the Crash/Over and Out (of Control)," which immediately set the tone and got the crowd surfers going. The energy continued to build throughout their performance, culminating with their closing song, "War All the Time."

Finally, Silverstein took the stage, opening with two tracks from their brand-new album, Antibloom — "Skin & Bones" and "Confession." These songs set the tone for the evening, as the entire crowd was moving from the get-go. Their 20-song set spanned their entire career, from 2025 all the way back to 2003. The encore featured "Smashed into Pieces," "Bleeds No More," and an acoustic version of "My Heroine," providing a fitting end to an unforgettable night.
