idobi Radio Summer School sells out Seattle’s Showbox SoDo

New touring festival idobi Radio Summer School came to Seattle on August 9th, featuring headliners The Home Team, Scene Queen, Stand Atlantic and Magnolia Park, plus openers Honey Revenge and Letdown. Each artist on the tour has recently released or will soon release new music - The Home Team and Scene Queen just released brand new albums, and Stand Atlantic will release a new record just after the tour ends. This festival has been a great showcase for these bands who are all likely to be headlining their own tours in the near future.

Every performance was filled with energy and plenty of crowd participation. Headliners have been rotating each night of the tour, and locals The Home Team headlined the Seattle show in the biggest hometown room of their careers so far, playing to a sold out crowd in the 1800-capacity venue (even playing an encore which has not been typical for this tour). Showcasing several tracks from their recently released album The Crucible of Life as well as some older favorites, The Home Team played an impressive high energy set as fans were nonstop crowdsurfing and was the perfect way to end the night.

There are four shows remaining on the tour, and tickets can be found here.
