Money by 5 Seconds of Summer
5 Seconds of Summer just keep rolling out the hits. With their sophomore album getting ready to drop within the next few weeks, the band are gearing up to release something special. Money is the opening track to the bands upcoming album and was released at midnight to any fan who had pre-ordered Sounds Good Feels Good on iTunes.
Drummer (and co-writer) Ashton Irwin tweeted once it was released:
The song isn't like the other songs that have been released thus far (She's Kinda Hot, Jet Black Heart, Fly Away) that have been more like old pop punk. This song is the very sound that shaped 5SOS into what they are now: the chorus that have the four boys singing "take my money," the drums in the background that are meant to be played live, and not to mention the mass amount of references to the punk queen.
Regardless, this song is going to be a great addition to the boys album that is sure to be a hit.
