Figure Me Out by The Summer Set
After a near two year hiatus, The Summer Set are back with a new single and an album announcement. Figure Me Out was released (via Fearless Records) with a music video along with the announcement of the upcoming album, Stories For Monday.
After an amazing run on Warped Tour 2014, the band virtually fell off the face of the Earth. It sort of was unheard of for a band who had released their debut album, went on a handful of tours, and had a growing fan base to go on hiatus, but it happened and nobody knew why.
Now, 2016, the band have released Figure Me Out.
The song starts off with, "I'm a bit too pop for the punk kids, but I'm too punk for the pop kids." Now, I don't know about you, but if that doesn't make you fall in the band all over again then I don't know what will. Moving on to the music, the song is filled with some amazing beats, great guitars and bass along with melodic pianos and spot on vocals.
