Drown by Bring Me The Horizon

British hardcore band Bring Me The Horizon released their first single since their album Sempiternal this morning leaving everyone in awe of the single.

When the band first announced the new single, social media blew up in excitement. This is the first release since the release of their last album, Sempiternal, that came out nearly 2 years ago in 2013 which made everyone anxious to see if the band would stick with the softer music found on Sempiternal or if they would return to the heavier side that was found on the bands earlier albums.

After winning the award for ‘Album of the Year’ at the APMA’s in July, lead singer Oli Sykes admitted to being a drug addict leaving everyone to wonder what the new lyrics would sound like.

The song was filled with both elements and those deep lyrics that Oli is known for leaving everyone pleased with the single. We even got to hear the clean vocals of Oli  that we found throughout Sempiternal. It seems like the boys are headed down the same road that brought us songs like ‘Can You Feel My Heart’ and ‘Sleepwalking’ but who’s complaining?

Needless to say, this song has blown up within the past 12 hours leaving everyone wanting more. ‘Drown’ is questioned to be the first single off a new Bring Me album but the boys haven’t announced anything yet.

The band just got off a US tour with A Day To Remember and are now at home.

Is this the start of more new Bring Me The Horizon songs? Who knows. But one things for sure, everyone is anxious for a new album!
