Monster Energy Outbreak Tour (w/ Attila, Crown The Empire, Like Moths To Flames, and Sworn In)
The 3rd annual Monster Energy Outbreak Tour (Rock Edition) hit Atlanta, GA on Nov. 16th at the Masquerade. The tour featured Sworn In, Like Moths to Flames, Crown The Empire, and the headlining act Attila.
Fans lined around the Masquerade in Atlanta last Sunday for the Outbreak Tour sponsored by Monster Energy. This tour was highly anticipated in Atlanta due to the headlining act ATTILA. The band is from Atlanta and the boys always bring it for their hometown show.
Fans piled into the Masquerade around 6:30 ready to party. Sworn In took the stage around 7 getting everyone hyped up with their heavy beats and deep lyrics. The band released their first album ‘The Death Card’ back in 2013 and it’s no doubt it left people speechless.
The band started with “XIII” which is the first song of the album. It definitely does the job of getting everyone excited. The band then went to “Hypocrisy” getting everyone pumped. The crowd jumped up and down to the heavy beats. The band also played “Mindless”, “Not My Sunshine”, and “Snake Eyes”.
They left everyone pumped and ready for Like Moths to Flames. They started with one of their old songs titled “Learn Your Place” which got everyone hyped and singing along. The crowd was crowd surfing and moshing throughout the whole set. The band also played “A Feast for Crows”, “The Worst in Me”, “GNF”, “The Common Misconception”, and ended with “I Solemnly Swear You Won’t Be Missed”.
Next was a crowd favorite band from Texas. Crown the Empire started with the intro of their latest album The Resistance, Rise of the Runaways. They came out on stage and started their song “Initiation”. The crowd was jumping around and moshing while singing along with the band. They then moved on to their song “Bloodline” and “Machines”. The band then left the stage while “The Wolves of Paris (Act II)” played in the background. They played a couple other crowd favorites including “MNSTR”, “Makeshift Chemistry”, and “Rise of the Runaways” before they ended with “The Fallout”.
The last band of the night was highly anticipated. ATTILA hit the stage with a bang with their new song “Proving Grounds”. The crowd jumped around and crowd surfed to the front to try and get a high five from frontman Fronz. The band then started a song off their last album, About That Life, titled “Hellraiser.” There was also a surprise visit from Breathe Carolina who would be playing on the same stage the next night. The boys popped some champagne and went their separate ways. They also played a mixture of old and new songs including “Rage”, “Sex, Drugs, & Violence”, “Break Shit”, “Middle Fingers Up”, “Shots for the Boys”, Payback”, Temper”, “Horsepig”, “Gimmicks and Lie$”, and ended with “Callout.”
The band left the stage with everyone excited and wanted more. After the crowd hollered for an encore, the boys popped back on stage to play two more songs, “Party With the Devil” and “About That Life”. Everyone left happy and tired. Fans went their separate ways and some stayed to meet the bands.
Needless to say, this tour was one to see. All of the bands gave it their all and left it all out on stage. All of them are ones you need to see at least once (maybe even more).
