Carolina Rebellion 2015
The first words you heard at Carolina Rebellion this weekend was "SOLD OUT!" With a record breaking crowd, the 5th annual Carolina Rebellion hosted at Charlotte Motor Speedway was already shaping up to be one to remember.
May 2nd
The day started off a little slow but began to grow as bigger names came on. Besides the two main stages - the Carolina Stage and the Rebellion Stage - there were also two other stages - Reverbnation Stage and the Jägermeister stage - dedicated to the smaller bands that played throughout the day. The day started with 4 bands on the smaller stage before the first "big" bands came on.
With bands like We Are Harlot, Nonpoint, Of Mice & Men, and Scott Weiland & The Wildabouts dominating the afternoon on the two main stages and bands like Stars In Stereo, Beartooth, Jackyl, and Periphery on the two smaller stages.
The crowds seemed to get bigger and bigger as the night rolled around. The acts that were set to perform were Hollywood Undead, Chevelle, Papa Roach, Rise Against, Sammy Hagar, Marilyn Manson, and Korn was set to close out the show. Need I say more?
May 3rd
The morning was filled with UK band, Young Guns, and was pretty much dominated by the woman of rock - Butcher Babies, In This Moment, and The Pretty Reckless showed Rebellion that woman do rock just as hard as the guys. Halestorm and Breaking Benjamin were the last to perform before the chaos began.
Bands set to perform the last slots of Rebellion were Slash, Slayer, Godsmack, and Slipknot. As you can probably guess, the crowds were huge and were filled with newcomers and fans alike jumping around and having fun during their last few hours of Carolina Rebellion.
It's easy to say that Carolina Rebellion was completely worth the heat and is definitely a must go to festival. The bands rocked, the food was amazing, and it is filled with people who are ready to have fun.
We'll definitely be going back next year and we hope you guys will too! Be sure to stay up to date on all Carolina Rebellion news by following all their social media that can be found on their official website.
