Louis Tomlinson sells out Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta, GA

If you’ve not been living under a rock then you’ve probably heard the name Louis Tomlinson. From chart topping singles and a sold out tour, it’s hard to miss. But if it doesn’t ring a bell then maybe you’ve heard of a little British band called One Direction. Since the bands indefinite hiatus Louis had began releasing his own music and is embarking on his first north american tour post COVID.

After opening act Sun Room left the stage, a black sheet with Louis famous logo was put up and the energy immediately picked up. A few minutes later the lights dimmed and the crowd screamed in cheers and the intro to We Made It began. The sheet dropped and Louis made his way on stage with a big smile on his face.

The crowd sang along to the 19 song setlist filled with a mix of old a new and even some One Direction songs (Drag Me Down and Little Black Dress to be particular). He also added in some covers from other rock artists, including 7 by Catfish and the Bottlemen and Beautiful World by Kings of Lion which was a nice surprise that added a nice mixture of songs to dance and singalong to.

Louis’ stage presence is one of a kind and he had the energy high throughout his whole set. The crowd was filled with fans, young and old, smiling, crying, and everything in between. From fans that have been following him from his 1D days to ones that just joined the fandom, everyone seemed to enjoy just being there.

He ended the night with three crowd favorites, Only The Brave, Through The Dark (One Direction), and Kill My Mind (a personal favorite of mine) that left the crowd wanting more, but in the end the fans left with smiles on their face and stories they’d be talking about for the next few months.

The entirety of Louis’ world tour is SOLD OUT, but if you get the chance to catch him in the future then definitely do. I’m excited to see him again in the future.
