Make Them Suffer open for Bad Omens' Concrete Jungle Tour in Seattle, WA

Concrete Jungle Tour - November 16, 2022 - El Corazon, Seattle, WA

Australian band Make Them Suffer recently played at Seattle’s grungiest venue, El Corazon. The metalcore band opened for Bad Omens on their headlining Concrete Jungle tour. This was Make Them Suffer’s first US tour since 2019, and some of the band’s first shows since the pandemic began. Also joining them on the tour were Thousand Below, who performed some new singles from their upcoming album, and Dayseeker, who played El Corazon earlier this year and are now promoting their new album Dark Sun. The entire tour was sold out before it started, and that included the Seattle date - it was immediately clear that the venue was too small for this massive show, which was nearly impossible to move around in once Thousand Below began playing.

Make Them Suffer had the crowd moving from the moment they started their set, beginning with the frantic 2019 single “Hollowed Heart.” Despite being the heaviest band of the show, Make Them Suffer were a great fit for this tour, and they had most of the room moshing while performing their new single “Doomswitch” - the band’s first track to feature recently joined keyboardist/vocalist Alex Reade. She, as well as the rest of the band, had incredible stage presence which led to them being a highlight of the show.
