A Sold Out Concert with COIN in Seattle, WA

Nashville three piece COIN hit the stage at one of Seattle’s most iconic venues, The Showbox, this last weekend to perform a sold out show for many eager fans. The band, who has slowly been rising in popularity ever since the release of their second studio album, How Will You Know If You Never Try, was accompanied by singer/songwriter Tessa Violet.

As Violet’s set came to a close and her production was being taken off stage, the crowd was buzzing with excitement as the crowd waited for COIN to hit the stage. Finally the band started off their set with I Don’t Wanna Dance from 2017’s How Will You Know If You Never Try. Vocalist Chase Lawrence was jumping around the stage throughout the night, interacting with fans as much as possible, whether it be grabbing bouquets of flowers from fans or singing in their faces, to jumping in the crowd, the band performed a seventeen song set consisting mostly of material of their aforementioned 2017 album as well as five songs that are set to be in the bands new album that is due out this year.

Halfway through the set the band broke down with only Lawrence and guitarist Joe Memmel remaining on stage to perform an acoustic rendition of I Would from the band’s debut album.

Finally the band performed the rest of their set with the same energy that the crowd kept giving back ending the night with Fingers Crossed, the night ended on a positive and vibrant note with not a single dull moment in the bands set.

With just a couple sold out shows left on this tour now would be a great time to check out the band before their third album is released this spring, which if the singles are any indication of where the band is going with it, this album is set to blow the band up even more than they already have.
