Sounds Good Feels Good by 5 Seconds of Summer

It's the moment most of us have been waiting for.

Sounds Good Feels Good starts off with Money, the song that just makes you want to jump around and have a good time before jumping into the bands first single She's Kinda Hot

But we've heard all about Money, She's Kinda Hot, Hey Everybody!, Jet Black Heart, and Fly Away. So let's talk about the new stuff.

Permanent Vacation was a song the band played throughout their Rock Out With Yours Socks Out tour and became a crowd favorite but had never been officially released. Until now. It's such a killer track and it's obviously great live. But as the band has said multiple times, listen to the lyrics. If you were to take away all the guitars and drums and just read the lyrics like it was a poem, it can get deep.

But the ones that really get to you are the slower, acoustic(ish) songs like The Girl Who Cried Wolf and Invisible. One of the biggest surprises was Broken Home, a song that takes on the somewhat taboo subject of coming from a broken home and feeling all the pain and anger that comes with that.

Now to those who have been been broken hearted, 5SOS know how you feel. Castaway is about being broken and asking that one question, what went wrong?

But do not get to thinking this is a depressing album. No, we have some happy songs like Waste The Night, Safety Pin, and Vapor to name a few. But probably the best lyrically, musically, and everything else is Outer Space / Carry On. I don't have words to describe it.

5SOS have grown since their debut album that was released back in 2014 and we can't wait to see what the boys do next.

Let us know what you think in the comments.

"Carry on, outlast the ignorance. Moving on, survive the innocence."
