Malevolence by New Year's Day

Back in 2013, New Years Day made their mark with Victim To Villain which ultimately launched the band into rock stardom. Now, just under two years later, the band are back with their latest installment Malevolence.

The band are no strangers to bringing some badass lyrics while also speaking to those who feel defeated, it's something they do well, and this album is not different.

With Nikki Misery bringing the riffs that make you just want to rock out but lead singer Ash Costello really steals the spotlight, something she also does well. With her heart wrenching style of lyricism and astonishing vocals, this girl isn't someone you want to mess with.

Not to say that the other's don't play a big part in this topnotch album. From the bass that make you appreciate bass, to the drums that hold it all together, these are all way too valuable to be overlooked.

It's definitely a must hear, both on the your stereo and live.
