Jet Black Heart by 5 Seconds Of Summer
The Aussie boys in 5 Seconds of Summer (or 5SOS) have released yet another single off their upcoming sophomore album, Sounds Good Feels Good. Jet Black Heart was released at 12am (local time) on iTunes to anyone who preordered the album.
The band had been hinting a release by posting pictures and tweeting lyrics before officially announcing it would be released. Lead guitarist Michael Clifford (who also co-wrote the song) tweeted shortly after it was released:
The song is (quote-on-quote) deeper song that others previously released, even featuring the lyrics, "everybody’s got their demons, even wide awake or dreaming" which isn't a typical 5SOS style of lyricism.
With that said, this is an amazing song with good vocals and music behind it. It's by far my favorite so far, and you should give it a listen.
