Monster Energy Carolina Rebellion 2015: A Guide For Newbies
The Carolina's biggest rock festival is coming up quickly and with only a few weeks to finish preparing, I've compiled everything you must know. So here's what you need to know about Carolina Rebellion!
First things first, you need a ticket! Keep in mind that the later you wait, the more expensive so I recommend getting it as soon as possible. The hotel and camping packages are completely SOLD OUT but there are some more weekend and day passes available. To view the available tickets go here.
Being that it is a TWO day festival, I suggest finding a hotel room nearby if you are planning on going both days. The festival is located at Rock City Campground at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Majority of hotels around the speedway are booked for those days, so I suggest looking on the surrounding towns.
Not sure if you want to go to both dates? That's fine! Maybe your favorite bands are only playing on Saturday and you just want to skip out Sunday, you do you!

Next is what you should and shouldn't bring. Here's the approved and prohibited items:
APPROVED ITEMS: One sealed bottle of water, 24 ounce maximum. Binoculars. Small digital cameras. Cell phones. Sunscreen in a plastic container. Blankets, limited to one per person. Draw string bags and small purses.
PROHIBITED ITEMS: No instruments. No weapons or firearms of any kind. No colors, no patches. No chains, chain wallets. No umbrellas, no hula hoops. No backpacks or duffle bags. No camel packs or bota bags. No drugs and/or drug paraphernalia. No video cameras and/or audio recording devices. No glass containers. No outside food/beverage (with exception of water bottle). No powdered substances. No folding chairs / lawn chairs. No coolers. No pets with the exception of service animals.
